Things I {don’t} Love

It’s that time again! We made it past Hump Day, and Friday is so close. It’s been a long week. Anyone else feel that way?! I like to start my Thursday mornings with a cup of coffee and a little linky party called Things I {don’t} Love. So grab a cup and let loose! Tell me what you’re currently not loving this week.

Here’s what I’m currently not loving:

Cleaning up meat juice in the fridge. Gross. You know what I’m talking about- when you have a package of raw meat in the fridge and it leaks all over the place, dripping blood and bacteria all over everything on the entire shelf. I just love when that happens. This time it was a package of steaks that had been sitting there for a few days (my bad). It dripped down into the produce drawer below it, so not only did I have a gigantic mess to clean up, but I also had to throw away a ton of good food. Maybe I should make some of these shelf liners I’ve seen on Pinterest.

Employees on their phones while working. I was at the grocery store a few days ago and received some horrible customer service from the cashier (and my local grocery store is normally great- I think she was new). She didn’t greet me, talk to me, or even look at me once while she rang up my entire grocery order. When it came time for me to pay, I noticed while I was counting my cash that the cashier pulled her iPhone out of her pocket, read a text, smiled and laughed, then replied while I was standing there waiting for her to take my money. So she’s all happy after reading the text, but then she immediately goes back to being rude again as soon as she puts her phone back in her pocket. She handed me my change and receipt without even saying a word to me. Now that’s customer service!

Cancer. Yep- I really don’t love cancer. Read this blog post I recently wrote about a dear friend of mine.
It’s your turn to link up your own Things I {don’t} Love post!
