Prayers to Aurora, Colorado

I rescheduled my blog that was supposed to go up this morning after I turned on the news & saw the news of the theater shooting that happened last night at a midnight premiere of The Dark Knight Rises. I’m just in shock right now and I feel like it’s not real. I’m not connected with the shooting in any way whatsoever, but it  does hit close to home in some way for me because my husband & son were seeing the same movie at the same time in our own town. It just blows my mind to think that while they were here having a father-son night, 1400 miles away there were people doing the same thing & ended up dead or wounded or traumatized for life. It is so sad and senseless. I can’t even imagine what these people…the victim’s family, friends, neighbors, classmates, co-workers, witnesses, survivors, passersby…you name it. So many people are involved in some way & my prayers & heartfelt sympathies go out to them all.

I’m not going  to make any more comments on the details of the shooting right now because it’s so fresh and I’m sure a lot of information will be changed or edited as more stuff is made public and police investigations continue. Just please send your thoughts & prayers to everyone in Aurora, Colorado and everyone connected to this tragedy in some way.
