I feel so bad you guys. I’m not blogging like I should be. I’m just in a funk and I don’t feel like myself. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, or if I’m just feeling antisocial and grouchy because I still can’t do the things that I would normally be doing. I was hoping to do a little quilting today but I had so much housework, laundry, and grocery shopping to do and I never got to the fun stuff. I promise to blog more though and slowly but surely I’m going to force myself to get up and do something and not just mope around anymore.
Oh, and there’s a few changes coming our way after this weekend. I can’t say just yet but I’ll fill everyone in when I can 🙂 Until then, here’s my 30 days of truth. I’m thankful it’s almost over because it’s getting to be more annoying than fun!
Day 17 → A book you’ve read that changed your views on something. The Bible.
Day 18 → Your views on gay marriage. Ok, I know gay people. I have gay people in my life. I’m not a homophobe at all. But my view on marriage is that it is for a man and a woman. Period. “A man [masculine] shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife [feminine], and they shall become one flesh.” (Gen. 2:24). Also, in a marriage you are expected to “be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth” (Gen. 1:28). Now go ahead and throw rocks at me.
Day 19 → What do you think of religion? Or what do you think of politics? I think most organized religion is a joke, and the crazy Christians that you see on TBN who are crying, falling on the floor, speaking in tongues, being healed, asking you for money, and basically acting like fools give Christians a bad name! And I’m not very political…it makes my brain hurt. But I’d say that I’m pretty conservative.
Day 20 → Your views on drugs and alcohol. Drugs ruin lives, and so can alcohol. I’ve seen too many people ruin their friendships, relationships, marriages, etc. I think drinking on occasion is fine, and I have been known to have a drink or two on occasion, but when you’re drinking more nights a week than you’re sober then you obviously have a problem. There’s more to life than being wasted or hanging out in dirty bars so get out and enjoy it!
Day 21 → (scenario) Your best friend is in a car accident and you two got into a fight an hour before. What do you do? Forget the fight…it was probably over something stupid anyways. I’ve never really had a super serious fight with any of my friends, so I can guarantee that whatever it was over wouldn’t keep me from calling or rushing to her side right away.
