Cereal Wars: Star Wars pens from Big G cereal

May the force be with you- at the breakfast table!

Any Star Wars fans out there? We’re pretty big on it around these parts. Let me tell you about this awesome promotion that combines Star Wars with cereal- both things I absolutely love.

Big G cereal has teamed up with Star Wars to make these cool limited edition pens you and  your kids can collect. Fans can look for the collectible pens in specially marked Big G cereals starting now and until supplies last (December 2013). Participating cereals include: Honey Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs, Golden Grahams, Cocoa Puffs, Trix and Lucky Charms. You can collect all of your favorite characters, including Darth Vader, Yoda, Chewbacca, Storm Trooper, Mace Windu, Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Boba Fett.

Does this sound fun?! Finally, a good prize in all the boxes of cereal we buy.
Look who we found in our Reese’s Puffs- it’s another Darth Vader! Thank goodness too- I was worried one of my kids was going to lose an eye after the way they were fighting over Darth the other night. And why the heck wouldn’t they? He’s my favorite too, and I’m sure he’d love a bowl of Reese’s Puffs.
To celebrate this fun promotion, a “Cereal Wars: Edible Episodes” website was made to recreate some of the most epic Star Wars scenes using these pens as props. Make sure to head over to the website to view and share videos, or even request which scene you’d like to see recreated. I personally would love to see the classic “Luke, I am your father” scene, though I’m not sure how they’d do the whole hand being cut off by a light saber thing.

I found this hilarious GIF on the website and it cracked me up!

That awkward moment when Chewbacca takes all of the milk…
